Reeds Target Shooting Club is a long established, Home Office Approved club, based near Maidstone, in Kent. We are dedicated to the sports of Rifle, Clay Pigeon and Muzzle Loading Pistol shooting.
We do it because we enjoy the challenge of the sports, because we enjoy each other’s company, and because shooting is great fun.
We meet on a weekly basis for small-bore shooting, every 3 weeks for clay pigeon shooting and monthly at Bisley for full-bore (i.e. long range) rifle shooting.
Aims and objectives of the Club:
These are fully set out in the Club’s written constitution, briefly they are:
- To promote the sport of shooting in all its forms.
- To provide facilities for the members to enjoy participating in the sport of shooting.
- To encourage members to train, practice and compete to the highest levels of their ability.
- To train future local, national, international and Olympic champions in all branches of the shooting sports.
- To have safe, sociable, friendly fun!
The Club also includes the usual “Defence of the Realm” statements in its constitution.
